About

A fashion designer and an artist/restaurateur fall in love. First, with each other. Then they, together, fall for a spectacular historic estate with a unique and fabled legacy. What began as a lark for Frank Muytjens and Scott Edward Cole, soon became an obsession for both. The result is now ready to be shared. The Inn at Kenmore Hall is an informal but luxurious inn, set amid the perfectly bucolic landscape of the Berkshire hills. A distinctly modern experience, in a setting of impressive Georgian architecture from 1792.

For Frank and Scott, Kenmore is home— it’s the perfect canvas for their shared collective passions: interior design, gardening, cooking and entertaining, and a sustaining love of the arts. Inspired by the original period architecture, as well as the stunningly beautiful surrounding twenty acres, Kenmore Hall, in its current chapter, is a pure passion project.

Let this gracious property be the center of your stay in the Berkshires. Its location puts you a stone’s throw from Tanglewood, Hancock Shaker Village, and in reasonable proximity to countless other natural and cultural resources. Of course, you may well choose never to leave the grounds. You may choose to sit in a teak chaise and do your summer reading under the locusts. Or, roam woodland paths and meadows. Perhaps luxuriate in the comfort of your room. Part of the beauty of visiting the Berkshires is the ability to do as much or as little as your whims dictate.
